Run in Ease with Saucony’s Ride 7

(Press Release) Saucony makes running easy with the latest edition of the much-anticipated flagship neutral cushioned shoe, the Ride 7.  Showcasing the global brand’s commitment to performance innovation and industry-leading products, Saucony once again hits its stride with an award-winning shoe that primes the runner for a lighter and more responsive experience on the road.

Saucony Ride 7

The Ride 7 has been creating a lot of buzz among athletes after it was selected as the “Editor’s Choice” in the Runner’s World 2014 Summer Shoe Guide, earning it the top accolades in the industry.  The significant upgrades in performance and style make it wear-testers’ top choice in the neutral running category, with a redesigned outsole for greater responsiveness, cushioning, and durability.  Refinements in key areas allow the Ride 7 to achieve a balance of comfortable cushioning and a lightweight body.

To help the Ride 7 accomplish this, the designers of the Saucony shoe lab removed the plastic shank in the midfoot found in traditional running shoes and replaced it with an additional pod of cushioned rubber on the outside edge of the foot and a carbon rubber pod on the inside.  This groundbreaking modification significantly reduces the weight of the shoe while providing a more supportive feel for runners.  The extension of the SRC™ (Super Rebound Compound) crash pad allows for smoother transitions and better impact absorption.

Like its predecessor, the Ride 7 is engineered with an 8mm heel-to-toe offset that offers a greater range of motion and a stronger running stride.  Saucony’s exclusive technologies are the ComfortLite Sockliner™ for more arch support and a RunDry™ lining at the collar for superior moisture wicking properties for an optimal running experience.

Try on the Saucony Ride 7 at the Saucony Store located at the 2nd floor of Glorietta 3 in Makati City and specialty retailers: Runnr in Bonifacio High Street, TriNoma, and Alabang Town Center, Toby’s Mall of Asia, Sports Central Megamall, major SM Department Stores nationwide, and Robinsons Place Manila Department Store.

Saucony is a leading global running lifestyle brand that fuses performance, innovation and style to create compelling footwear and apparel.  Founded in 1898, Saucony continues to inspire runners everywhere with its award-winning innovations, including the “Geometry of Strong™, PowerGrid™, and the Total Run System™” apparel line.  At Saucony, a good day is when we get to run.  A great day is when we inspire someone else to run.  For more information, visit Saucony on Facebook via facebook.com/SauconyPhilippines and follow us on Twitter and Instagram via @SauconyPH.
